“Stellar Inn was by far the best place we stayed on our 2 week trip in Alaska. This is a BEAUTIFUL Inn that is impeccable managed and cared for. We stayed in the Elderberry cabin. Maja, the manager is very attentive to details in the rooms and making sure they are very clean. She is also very quick to respond to emails and texts. The rooms have a coffee maker, small fridge and microwave. There is a beautiful fire pit area and BBQ grill with all the supplies you could want. You are only 3 short miles from town. Less than 1/4 mile from Stellar Inn is “The Creperie”, open early for breakfast and lunch, great little place. You won’t regret staying at the Stellar Inn.”

“We stayed two nights at the end of July and could not have been happier with our stay. The room was immaculate, the grounds quiet and beautiful, and the location was only a couple minutes drive to town. We were impressed with the attention to detail: bug spray and bear spray provided if needed, bonfire pit and wood, paper plates and bowls and napkins in the room, even books to read. The woman caretaker was so welcoming, friendly and informative. We had a balcony on the creek and spent an evening enjoying watching the salmon. We have nothing negative to say about our stay!”

“We loved our stay here! We ended up having the rainiest 3 consecutive days of the season while we were in Seward, but this place made our stay so enjoyable! We really loved the rain chains all along the property and felt so immersed in the woods with the stream sounds and birds all around. The property manager, Maja, was very friendly and helpful! Having the bathroom down the hall worked out just fine as well, as it was very close and a nice excuse to enjoy the fresh Alaskan air on the covered deck. We would definitely stay here again!”

“I have nothing but great things to say about the Steller Inn! From ease of booking, communicating with the manager and checking in, to having a nice quiet, clean and quaint place to stay, I would give this all the stars! The location was a very close drive to Seward (~5-8 min) for our boat tour and taking in the area shops/restaurants, but it was also in a perfect spot off the beaten path so that you could truly retreat and relax. The cabin had everything we needed and we would have loved to stay more time if our trip had allowed.”

“This is one of the most beautiful resorts that I have stayed in.. The grounds are just beautiful. They have set up a cozy campfire area and an area to grill out. They provided everything that you would need to grill out. So well organized. The rooms are just beautiful. Very cozy and impeccably clean. Very impressed with this resort. Would highly recommend it.”

“This was my favorite place to stay in our 10 day Alaskan vacation. We stayed three nights in the Elderberry cabin. Comfy, king size bed. Large room. The setting is unbelievably beautiful from the flowers, creek and large Sitka spruce trees. It is just a few miles from Exit Glacier which is a beautiful hike and also Resurrection River. The Salmon Bake restaurant is so good and very close by. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!”

“Perfect location, tucked into the forest with a salmon-spawning stream running around the property. It was quiet and serene, huge plus for me. The room was clean, large, and I loved the little balcony where I could hang out and listen to the fish and water. Maja was welcoming, helpful, and informative about some of the hikes I was planning. Definitely planning on coming back in the future.”
